On the first Friday of the month, the Friday Night Committee of the Greenpoint Shul hosts a themed Shabbat dinner.

Past themes have included Sunset in Italy: an authentic Jewish-Italian meal and a talk by a professor of Italian Jewry, The Calling; a documentary screening (before Shabbat) followed by a Q&A with the director, and Brooklyn Borscht Belt: a high-stakes joke-off. We invite you to join us on the first Friday of the month for a delicious dinner and an interesting and lively evening.
