On Sunday, November 11th from 1-4 pm the Greenpoint Shul is teaming up Town Square inc. to host their ever popular monthly clothing /items swap.
So here is the time to clean out your closets and dresser drawers maybe even find some great Hanukkah gifts!
One person’s trash is another man’s treasure!
How Swap’s work is very simple.
You simply drop off your cleaned and gently used and working items you don’t want and take things you do, as much as you can carry away. The rest is given away to homeless organizations or other charities. It doesn’t have to be just clothes, people swap electronics, books, kid toys and much, much more. It’s amazing what people bring to swaps. The Town Square people ask for a small donation at the door, but it is optional.
Don’t forget to bring a bag (or cart) to tote them all!
All remaining items are donated to local charities and churches. Town Square is a qualified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit institution.Your donation will be TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the full extent of the law.
